ASM Global, the world leader in venue management, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Event Security Guard at SNHU Arena. This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and security doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises, securing property during move in/out of events. Under direct supervision, the Event Security Guard monitors venue activity, enforces facility policies, and responds to incidents in a professional and timely manner. Ideal candidates will have strong observational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment in a fast-paced, public setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Secures Property
• Locks and unlocks facility doors.
• Conduct routine property walks.
• Direct guests through metal detectors, to seats, or other locations.
• Responds to emergency situations.
• Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.
• Secured the safety of all individuals on the premises.
• Appropriately deals with 'unruly' people.
• Works independently and judges and assesses situations for immediate response.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service skills
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management.
• Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED

Physical Demands:

This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping, and possibly heavy lifting. Position requires work in both indoor and outdoor settings. This position may be subjected to adverse conditions, including contact with hostile people.
