Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary-aged students in a school setting. This part-time, contract position spans the full semester and is ideal for professionals seeking hands-on experience working with diverse early learners.

Location :

  • Onsite at an elementary school in Pawtucket, RI

Duration :

  • January 5, 2026 June 15, 2026 (Full semester)

    • Schedule :

  • Part-time, 2 days per week (flexible days excluding Fridays)
  • Hours from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide OT services primarily to Pre-K students, with some support provided to students in grades 1 through 3
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address developmental and functional needs
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school regulations and standards

    • Qualifications :

  • Active state license as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the specific needs of young learners
