Overview

Insight Global is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a pharmaceutical machine manufacturing company located in Branford, CT. This role will support the machine shop and production of complex, custom machines builds. The ideal candidate will produce precision quality parts machining a variety of materials to engineering specification (SS304, 316L, aluminum and plastics, etc.). Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining ProtoTrak lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to technical ISO and ANSI drawings and quality standards.

Base pay range

$30.00 / hr - $35.00 / hr

Shifts

2nd or 3rd shift

Required Skills & Experience

  • CNC 3 & 5 Axis Machining Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Familiar with the metric system
  • Familiarity with G & M codes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Programming and operating ProtoTrak controls
  • ISO & ANSI drawing print reading
  • Experience in turning lathe
