We are looking for a Regional Technical Analyst - LatAm based in Miami The Impact You Will Have Reporting to the Head of Facultative Desk - LatAm, you will support cross-functional and cross-regional analysis and consultancy, delivering precise statistics in Budget, P&L management, Financial Reporting, and Strategic Planning for Allianz Commercial LatAm. You will identify trends and narrate the stories behind the data. You will support the development and implementation of management control processes aligned with the strategy of each Commercial line of business, contributing to strategic decision-making through planning and monitoring results. This includes analyzing market trends, portfolio dynamics, and profitability, while assisting in optimizing planning and performance processes across multiple locations within the LatAm region. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Assisting in performing comprehensive analyses of regional markets to pinpoint opportunities and threats, utilizing insights to guide strategic planning and decision-making. Supporting the establishment of measurable goals that align with both regional and corporate objectives. Supporting the development and refinement of key performance indicators tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the region. Conducting evaluations with local teams to assess progress and address challenges, as well as partnering with local teams to review performance, identify gaps, and recommend actions to improve mix, pricing adequacy, and profitability. Assisting in developing financial forecasts that consider regional economic conditions and business trends. Supporting budget allocation processes across the region, assessing the financial impact of reinsurance structures and changes and ensuring efficient use of resources. Assisting in the planning and execution of regional projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Supporting risk management efforts by identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. Preparing reports on regional performance and strategic initiatives for corporate leadership. Facilitating meetings with regional stakeholders to discuss progress and gather feedback, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams in different locations to leverage regional strengths. Working closely with other regional managers and departments to ensure integrated strategy execution and decision authority. Evaluating the effectiveness of existing reinsurance programs and facilities and recommending improvements to enhance cost, volatility protection, and capital efficiency. Tracking how Operating Entities incorporate NatCat in technical pricing and recommending calibration where needed. What You'll Bring to the Role 3+ years of proven expertise in technical analysis and strategic planning; Previous experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry; Experience in analysis, planning, and designing financial and profitability indicators and actions; Experience in leading, developing, and implementing management control systems; Proven expertise in enhancing planning and performance processes; Data management expertise; Proficiency with financial modeling, data analysis tools, and project management software; Experience evaluating and measuring sales data; Outstanding technical skills with the ability to analyze complex data/information from multiple sources and resolve issues; Project management skills; Ability to build and foster relationships internally across the organization and externally with our broker partners; Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially with Excel; Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making; Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally; Proficiency in spanish is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and teams in the Latin American region. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
