Ensure that clients take their medications on time, providing medication reminders and support. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each clients needs and goals. Assist clients with building life skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care. Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage positive behaviors and minimize challenges. Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to reduce isolation and promote social engagement. Engage clients in recreational and social activities that enhance emotional well-being and promote independence. Foster meaningful relationships that improve the overall quality of life for clients. Observe and report any changes in clients physical or emotional health to family members or healthcare providers. Ensure a safe environment by maintaining a clean, hazard-free space and preventing accidents or injuries. Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients are following dietary requirements. Maintain open communication with clients families to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure comprehensive care. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to adjust care plans and ensure clients needs are met. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in caregiving, special education, or health-related fields are a plus. 0-1 year of Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on job duties. Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and other team members. Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting, walking assistance, and performing household tasks Clean background check with no open CPS or APS registry. Valid Figure print Clearance Card Valid CPR and First Aid certification. Completion of Article 9 DCW (Direct Care Worker) Training.
