Accounting & Finance Manager

About the Role:

The Accounting & Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and accounting operations of our CA Office. This position is responsible for managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead a team of finance professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial data that supports strategic decision-making. They will collaborate closely with other departments to optimize financial performance and implement best practices in financial management. Ultimately, this role ensures the integrity of financial information and contributes to the sustainable growth of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 -7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Net Suite ERP.
• Experience managing a team and leading financial operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Advanced degree such as MBA in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in a corporate or multi-state environment.
• Strong background in financial analysis and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with senior management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
• Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
