Plano, TX - Hourly Range $20

Job Brief

We are looking for a hardworking reliable Inventory Clerk. You will be responsible for receiving, checking, and recording incoming shipments of various material and products.

Responsibilities

  • Compare purchase orders with packing lists
  • Forklift Certified
  • Inspect deliveries to ensure they match purchase order criteria
  • Inspect delivers for damages
  • Receive and sign for deliveries
  • Unload deliveries
  • Process returns for non-conforming material
  • Organize and store received items in their appropriate area
  • Update inventory with received item
  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.…
  • Use dollies, Lift trucks and other required equipment to move items thorough out the facility.
  • Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary
  • Ensure stockroom is clean and organized
  • Conducts cycle counts based on systems requirements
  • Pick and kit Jobs
  • Reports any discrepancies to correct buyer
  • Reports past due purchase orders to the correct buyer

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use to use inventory software
  • Works well as a team
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Remains calm in stressful situations
  • Manges time efficiently
  • Previous work experience as a Receiving clerk or similar for a minimum of 2 years
  • Previous experience using MRP / ERP systems
  • Previous experience in Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.….
