Job Description

Assist other crew members in the upkeep of property to keep it tidy and aesthetically pleasing. This will be completed by :

  • Removal of weeds and debris from landscape beds
  • Making sure that the edges of the mulch beds are tidy and within their defined locations
  • Removal of weeds that are growing in the cracks of parking lot and sidewalks
  • Trimming of branches from trees that are dead or hanging low
  • Trimming of shrubs to keep them uniform looking
  • Installation of plants (Trees,shrubs, and flowers) as needed per customer request
  • Application of mulch as needed
  • Assist crew in keeping equip

Reports to :

  • Enhancement crew foreman

    • The work environment will consist of outdoor work in the seasonal elements :

  • Moderate to high heat
  • Occasional rain

    • Use of equipment to complete jobs :

  • Trimmers
  • Blowers
  • Mini skid loader
  • Bed edger
  • Hand tools

    • Occasional loud noises with equipment use :

  • Hearing protection provided and required

    • Presence of airborne debris :

  • Eye protection provided and required
  • Respiratory protection provided and required

    • Working Days and Hours :

  • Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm
  • Later as needed due to weather and deadlines
  • Saturdays as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Knowledge of various types of plants
  • Chemical applicators license (Preferred)
  • Valid drivers License (Preferred)
  • Detail oriented
  • Motivated, self driven
  • Experience running heavy equipment (Preferred)
  • Ability to plan and coordinate along with team for efficient movement throughout day
