Construction Superintendent

Busy and Growing GC has an immediate opening for a dynamic and experienced Superintendent. We build luxury retail TI and Ground Up Commercial Projects. This position may require travel. We are looking for this superintendent to have a high success and completion rate of retail projects. If you are inspired by a fast pace, are challenged by complex design, have keen organizational skills, and are looking for stable employment, this might be the perfect position for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction plans and the specifications. Must be able to control jobsite costs, and manage all subcontractors on site.
• Management : As the superintendent on-site, you will manage and coordinate all on-site activities from start-up to completion, while striving for a zero punch-list close. Must have the ability to manage and direct anywhere from 2 to 30 people at once, while managing delivery schedules and excelling in preventing any delays.
• Prepare and oversee the schedule of the project(s) all while taking into account delivery dates with manufacturers, or client install dates and the schedule of all subcontractors.
• Documentation : Coordinate with PM on all change orders, plan changes, submittals, and manage the project(s) budgets.
