We are a mid-sized public accounting firm looking to hire an experienced Tax Manager with strong review and leadership experience. This role will involve managing a team, optimizing tax strategies, and providing expert advice to clients on various tax matters across a wide variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S.
- Review and analyze tax returns prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop tax strategies and provide tax planning services to clients to minimize their tax liabilities.
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
- Assist in tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities when necessary.
- Train and mentor junior staff on tax processes and best practices.
