Job Position : Part Time Groundskeepers

Location : Conestoga Valley School District

Pay Rate : $20.06 / Hour

Shift : Full Time 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM.

Position Overview : SOS Group is seeking diligent and dedicated Groundskeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring the safety and aesthetic appeal of our school grounds. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping and maintenance tasks to preserve the cleanliness, functionality, and attractiveness of our school campuses.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform regular landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, as well as pruning trees and shrubs.

Maintain flower beds and planters by planting, watering, weeding, and applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.

Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including picking up litter and debris.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment and tools.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and performing tasks.

Respond promptly to requests and emergencies related to grounds maintenance.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.

Knowledge of horticulture practices, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
