Fahrenheit Advisors has been retained in the search for their Controller for their HQ in Glen Allen, VA.

Position Overview

The role is responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions for the company. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial information while supporting ICI strategy. The Controller will lead the accounting team, optimize financial processes, and ensure bank compliance. This position reports to the VP of Finance and works in the office 5 days a week in Glen Allen, VA .There is a team of 4 that will report to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management, Treasury & Reporting

• Oversee all month end closing process with delivery to ICI Exec Team & External CPA
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.
• Coordinate external annual GAAP audits, banking field exams and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department leaders to create reliable budgets.
• Primary Treasury Management lead overseeing daily / weekly transactions and Banking day to day
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic planning.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting processes.
• Develop and implement new and automated reporting to support strategic direction of ICI Foods
