Conner’s Rooftop is a year-round destination bar perched on the 7th floor of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Downtown Fort Wayne—literally overlooking the action at Parkview Field. Heated, enclosed in the winter and wide open in the summer, our rooftop brings the party every season.


We’re building our next all-star team of bartenders and servers who are energetic, adaptable, guest-obsessed, and thrive in a team-first environment.

✨ What You’ll Do


At its core, this role is all about creating unforgettable guest experiences—whether you’re behind the bar or serving tables.


Bartenders

• Craft cocktails with precision and personality
• Prepare drinks for cocktail servers
• Engage guests, recommend spirits, and keep the bar buzzing

Servers

• Deliver friendly, attentive tableside service
• Guide guests through food and drink menus
• Keep service smooth, fast, and polished—even when it gets busy
  
  

Everyone

• Work as one cohesive team—from setup and prep to last call and cleanup
• Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready space
• Balance speed, accuracy, and warmth during high-volume rushes
• Be confident recommending craft cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a welcoming, upbeat attitude
• Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into the POS
• Check in regularly to anticipate guest needs
• Keep tables and bar areas clean, reset, and guest-ready
• Know the menu—ingredients, prep, styles, and pairings
• Jump in to help teammates whenever needed
• Adapt quickly when business surges (because it will!)

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Strong guest service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm, friendly, and efficient under pressure
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation

Required Certifications

• Indiana Alcohol Serving Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Serving Alcohol with Care (or similar)
