Job Title : Mechanic

Job Description

This position is for a Machine Mechanic within a rebuilding and job shop environment, specializing in custom machine building. The role involves evaluating machines, breaking them down, determining root causes, solving problems, and repairing and rebuilding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair of used packaging machines to ensure productive operation.
• Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, as well as power tools like drills and impacts.
• Read and interpret tape measures when necessary.
• Engage in fabrication and production tasks, which are considered an advantage.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as part of regular duties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr.
