Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
Shift: 3x12 Days or 3x12 Nights
Pay: $2,221.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description:

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses.
This role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and the ability to manage complex patients in a fast-paced environment.

The RN must be capable of identifying cardiac rhythm changes, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to abnormalities
  • Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies in accordance with facility policy
  • Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document all care accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge instructions
  • Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
  • Float to similar units as required based on staffing needs

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience Required: Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
  • License: Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA – active, no pending status)
  • Vaccinations:

    • COVID-19 Vaccine – Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

    • Flu Vaccine – Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
