Business Intelligence Engineer - Software Development

Location : Lexington, MA (On-site at least 4 days a week)

Job Summary : We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst with expertise in Biotech R&D data. The ideal candidate will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making in research and development. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate data capture, analysis, and use, optimizing innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure accurate data collection, storage, and integration across platforms.
• Analyze biotech R&D data, document requirements, and develop IT solutions.
• Create and maintain system integrations, dashboards, and reports.
• Support bioinformatics and R&D applications, including LIMS and ELN.
• Design and implement business intelligence solutions aligned with R&D goals.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and automate KPI reports for biotech research.
• Serve as a liaison between R&D, IT, and business teams for data initiatives.
• Lead or support data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.
