[job_card.job_description]Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks / Azure SQL Data Warehouse Utilizing Databricks (for processing and transforming massive quantities of data and exploring the data through machine learning models) Design and build solutions powered by DBT models and integrate with Databricks. Utilize Snowflake for data application development, and secure sharing and consumption of real-time and / or shared data. Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using Python. SQL for data migration and analysis.
Great opportunity with a private equity firm located in Stamford, CT.
The Azure Data Engineer in this role will partner closely with investment and operations teams to build scalable data pipelines and modern analytics solutions across the firm and its portfolio.
The Senior Azure Data Engineer main responsibilities will be :
- Designing and implementing machine learning solutions as part of high-volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Experience in designing solutions for large data warehouses and databases (Azure, Databricks and / or Snowflake)
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders.
- Experience in data architecture, data governance, data modeling, data transformation (from converting data, to data cleansing, to building data structures) data lineage, data Integration, and master data management.
Technical Skills
Pluses :
Past work experience in financial markets is a plus (Asset Management, Multi-strategy, Private Equity, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Trading, Portfolio Management, etc.).
