[job_card.job_description]Flexible working hours On-the-job training Growth opportunities Casual work attire Flexible Hours Ample opportunities for overtime Aide in the fabrication and repair of stamping dies used in production Investigate and troubleshoot dies producing non conforming parts Perform maintenance on stamping dies and its components Fabricate replacement components when needed Record maintenance records when maintenance is performed on tooling Evaluate stamping dies for wear, chips, or sheared punches and / or die sections 3-5 years of surface grinding experience REQUIRED 3-5 years of manual machining with mills, lathes, jig grinders etc. REQUIRED Experience with ID (inner diameter) and OD (outer diameter) machining Minimum of 5 years of tool and die repair and fabrication experience PREFERED Special consideration will be given to candidates with journeymen's certificates, apprenticeship, or equivalent certifications. \n Haas Machining Center experience PREFERED Ability to read prints and work to close tolerances. Mechanically inclined and interested in die repair. Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills. A working understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Tool and Die Maker background. Problem solving skills.
