Tax Manager

Our client in Beverly Hills is looking to fill their Tax Manager position!

Responsibilities:

• Gather, review for accuracy, and input multiple K-1’s tax items from various investments into preparation software
• Organizing LLC annual tax payments
• Work with CSC on ensuring that annual statements for various states are filed and disposed asset entities are dissolved
• Prepare annual city tax filing
• Oversee preparation of 1099s
• Prepare information required for any federal or state audits
• Successful candidates will possess ability to plan work with external tax professionals, manage compliance projects and supervise tax interns.
• Must be detail-oriented and have prepared detailed quarterly tax projections
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information and tax law
• Monitor changes in tax laws so as to be able to assist with tax advice and strategies
• Strong proficiency with excel
• Proficiency with ProSystem tax preparation software and Quickbooks

Qualifications:

• Must have worked in a family office or accounting firm handling family office taxation matters
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active California CPA License. Ideally, the candidate will have a MST
• Must have at least 5-7 years of continuous public accounting or family office tax experience with strong experience with high net worth clients
• Experience in the preparation of tax returns for wealthy family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses
