What is the specific title of the position - Lead Quality Engineer.

Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day / night shifts rotating shifts etc) - 8.00am - 5.00pm day shift.

- Act as hands on lead for End-to-end testing of the application (Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, etc.)
- Quality Assurance / Testing - Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and functionality of products.
- Overall knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
- Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage.
- Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories. Share and communicate ideas to business, managers, and the team.
- Maintaining good quality documentation of test cases and other validations - Document and review test cases and test results with project team to validate that all business and technical requirements have been met and will be covered with our testing process.
- Validate the quality of the product and confirm completion of assignments to meet QA / release deadlines.
- Build product expertise to identify and build automation test coverage.
- Act as hands on lead for automation and performance testing - Ability to take end to end ownership for automation and performance.
- Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach - Building and maintaining automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, BDD, etc.
- Design, develop and implement automated tests.
- Ability to learn new automation tools.
- Building and maintaining Performance / Load testing frameworks using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Performance Center
- Mentor and direct other testers in automation, performance, and quality engineering principles
- Writing SQL queries
- Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
