[job_card.job_description]3+ years of strong frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript Solid understanding of modern frontend architectures, state management, and performance optimisation Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and move with urgency Experience shipping production systems with high-quality engineering standards Bonus : experience in a fullstack environment or working closely with backend engineers Bias toward ownership, rapid execution, and craftsmanship Experience building and scaling products at fast-moving startups (preferred), or at high-bar tech companies Comfortable with early-stage ambiguity and excited by zero-to-one challenges Strong product intuition and attention to detail A builder mentality hands-on, resourceful, and motivated to create something enduring
Frontend Engineer
UMATR are supporting an early-stage AI startup on a mission to help growing organisations stay aligned and efficient as they scale. Our product acts as an intelligent teammate that understands a companys context, goals, and culture giving teams unprecedented visibility into whats happening across the business.
They're backed by top-tier global investors and experienced operators from some of the worlds leading tech companies. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build foundational systems that will power the next generation of AI-native enterprise software.
What Youll Do
- Build and ship high-quality frontend features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Translate designs into polished, responsive, production-ready UI
- Partner closely with our designer to iterate rapidly on new UX and UI concepts
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
- Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams to shape product and technical direction
- (Bonus) Work across the stack when needed, supporting backend teams and integrations
