Job Overview :

Search Solution Group is seeking a Global Account Manager on behalf of our client, an industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role is critical to driving global sales growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing global accounts, and ensuring strategic alignment between customer needs and organizational capabilities. The Global Account Manager will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, supporting cross-regional initiatives, and contributing to the company's global business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

New Business Development & Account Growth

  • Develop new business with global customers across preferred technology areas and target market sectors as defined by company leadership.
  • Create detailed customer mapping for target accounts and identify key global locations for engagement and support.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key personnel, decision makers, and influencers within target accounts.
  • Build and execute account visit and communication plans to ensure effective coverage.
  • Grow and develop existing global accounts in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Work as part of the Global Customer Engagement Group Sales & Support (GCEGSS) team, maintaining regular communication across regions.
  • Collaborate closely with plant management, departmental leads, and global sales teams to support customer needs and business goals.
  • Provide consistent updates on market trends, opportunities, and potential risks to ensure global alignment.
  • Reporting & Accountability

  • Prepare and present annual sales forecasts and new business targets for approval by GCEGSS management.
  • Monitor progress toward sales and business development goals, providing regular reports and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal reporting requirements, company policies, and directives.
  • Deliver timely reports on customer activities, site visits, and account performance.
  • Maintain the highest standards of communication and professionalism with customers and internal teams.
  • Performance & Review Structure

  • Participate in regular progress and review meetings with the Leadership Team.
  • Complete formal performance review after the first 3 months to evaluate progress and future expectations.
  • Requirements Include :

    Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience :

  • Proven experience in global account management, sales, or business development.
  • Experience within electronics manufacturing, PCB production, or related technology industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex, multinational accounts.
  • Skills :

  • Strong relationship-building and customer engagement abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a focus on planning and prioritization.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications :

  • None required.
  • Knowledge :

  • Understanding of global sales operations, account planning, and business development strategy.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing or similar technical manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with market trends within electronics, technology, or industrial components sectors.
  • Key Competencies :

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
