Job Description

As a Security Guard - Flex Real Estate Patrol in Tukwila, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the commercial real estate location to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal's reporting procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol and / or assigned post.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
