Job Description :

Senior Power Apps and .NET Developer with at least 11 years of professional experience in .NET development and Power Platform solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and .NET technologies. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and efficient applications, integrating various data sources, and optimizing processes within the DCPS organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Power Apps Development

• Design and develop custom Power Apps solutions using Web API integration.
• Create responsive Canvas Apps with a focus on adaptive layouts for different devices.
• The editable gallery will be secure, with permissions in place to control who can edit and who can simply view the gallery, ensuring that sensitive or personal content remains protected.
• Implement complex business logic in Power Apps utilizing Dataverse and SharePoint for data storage and management.
• Delegation experience : Power Apps will provide warnings when a query is not delegable. It's important to adjust the queries and use delegable functions to ensure optimal performance.

Power Automate

• Develop and maintain Power Automate flows to connect on-premises data sources with cloud applications.
• utomate workflows and integrate with business processes using Power Automate, ensuring smooth data flow between systems.
• pproval workflows using power automate.

Power Pages

• Implement Power Pages to create user-friendly, dynamic web pages integrated with SharePoint using Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Leverage SharePoint and Dataverse to store, manage, and collaborate on documents and data.
• Implement Power Pages to create user-friendly, dynamic web pages integrated with Dataverse.

Security & Licensing

• Ensure the security of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions by implementing best practices.
• Oversee licensing and access management within the Power Platform environment to ensure compliance and minimize security risks.

Power BI

• Develop interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards for decision-makers.
• Write DAX formulas for data transformation and visualization to provide actionable business intelligence.

Web API & .NET Development

• Extensive experience with C# programming language
• Expertise in ASP.NET MVC framework for web application development
• Solid knowledge of Web API for building RESTful services
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Web APIs using .NET technologies.
• Work with multi-database connections (SQL) to support various data needs and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
• Creating a robust .NET application with a strong design focus, ensuring the application is scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities :

• Plans, organizes, and implements projects in support of District's growing information demands.
• Ensures the effective use of District resources.
• Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements.
• Possesses expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user.
• Participate in short-term tactical planning implementation.
• Contributes to long-term strategic planning.

Minimum Education / Certification Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

SQL experience 11 6+ yrs. with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI 6 6+ yrs. experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with backend systems 6 6+ yrs. experience problem- solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex front-end issues 6 4+ yrs. experience in integrating Power Apps with Web APIs, Dataverse, SharePoint, and on-premises data sources using Power Automate 4 Experience with QuickBase Application Design and Development Desired Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools Desired
