Position Summary

Levante Health is seeking an experienced Backend PHP Developer to support the development of our enterprise Healthcare SaaS ERP platform . The role focuses on backend architecture, API development, database design, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • Design and optimize scalable APIs, backend modules, and service integrations.
  • Build and maintain relational database structures, queries, and performance improvements.
  • Ensure application reliability, security, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to implement technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and documentation efforts.

Required Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of professional PHP development experience.
  • Proficiency with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
  • Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL and RESTful API development.
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI / CD processes.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Not required) :

  • Experience developing SaaS or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Exposure to healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI).
