Equipment Operator (Asphalt Maintenance)

The City of Peoria Public Works has an excellent opportunity for an Equipment Operator in the Street Maintenance Asphalt Division. This position performs a variety of construction and maintenance tasks by operating a variety of heavy construction equipment including, asphalt pavers, loader's, dump trucks, water trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, steel drum asphalt rollers, grade tractors and milling machines. This position is a 4-10 schedule Monday through Thursday 5 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM.

The ideal candidate for this position will have :

• Class A CDL with tankers endorsement
• 9-12 months heavy equipment experience
• 9-12 months asphalt paving experience
