As a Security Officer - Flex Healthcare Patrols in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. This is a driving post. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, playing a key role in supporting a caring culture. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and / or emergencies.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards and report maintenance or security-related concerns as observed during patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
