We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role focuses on ensuring product quality and compliance through hands-on inspection, First Article Inspection (FAI), and support of day-to-day quality operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable reading engineering drawings, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and documentation in accordance with AS9102
- Assist with Material Review Board (MRB) evaluations and disposition of nonconforming parts
- Maintain calibration and proper use of measuring and testing equipment
- Work within AS9100 quality systems and follow established procedures
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
- Document findings, generate reports, and support employee training as needed
