Michigan engineering firm specializing in athletic and recreational facilities projects is hiring a Civil Engineer for their office in the Detroit area!

Responsibilities :

Ability to grow in organization with project management / design responsibilities
Work on projects from planning / design through completion
Prepare project plan documents / reports
As part of the design team, plan, schedule and coordinate technical aspect of projects
Communicate / resolve technical issues
Present / explain designs
Review / respond to construction RFIs and submittals

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture

3+ years of experience

Project Management experience preferred

Sports / recreation design experience (including Athletic Fields) preferred

Strong knowledge of site grading concepts

Knowledge / interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards and all areas of design / design methods

Experience with schematic design, design development and construction documents

Proficient in relevant drafting / design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat

Salary is commensurate with experience.
