Certified Risk Adjustment Coder

A company is looking for a Coding Consultant responsible for delivering high-quality risk adjustment coding services.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records to assign diagnosis codes and ensure compliance with CMS-HCC standards

Maintain a coding accuracy score of 95% or higher and participate in quality checks and audits

Complete assigned coding volumes within productivity targets and collaborate with team members for workflow adjustments

Required Qualifications

CPC, CCS, RHIT, or CRC certification required

3-5 years of medical coding experience, preferably in risk adjustment or HCC coding

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Strong knowledge of CMS-HCC models and diagnosis coding guidelines

Proficiency with EMR / EHR systems and coding platforms
