Nights – 3×12 hours, 19 : 00–07 : 00 (Friday–Sunday)

Job Requirements

2 years of MRI experience required

First-time travelers accepted

Must be registered in MRI ARRT or ARMRIT

GE and Siemens MRI experience required

EPIC required

Must have experience with :

Anesthesia

Pediatric sedations

Ventilator / ICU patients

General pediatrics (including non-sedated patients)

Conditional device scanning (Pacemakers, ICDs, stimulators)

Using SAR or B1RMS guidance and adjusting parameters as needed

Level II Trauma experience required

Department Details

3 MRI scanners : GE Architect 3T

GE Artist 1.5T

Siemens Sola 1.5T

All are wide-bore scanners.

Scans performed on all ages—from infants to geriatrics.

Conditional implant exams done daily; candidate must be experienced and able to follow manufacturer scanning conditions.

Operating hours :

Weekdays : All 3 scanners 8a–8p or 9p

Weekends : 2 scanners 9a–9p

Department operates 24 / 7

Scheduling & Call

Department uses 12-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts

Weekday + weekend scheduling required

Holiday rotation required

Back-up call required on 3rd shift :

Called in only if primary staff calls out

May also be called in for high volumes (rare)

Patient Types / Environment

Wide variety of MRI exams

Acute care facility—requires experience with high-acuity environments and similar hospital settings
