Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client in the Simi Valley area who is seeking a Controller with extensive NetSuite experience to play a pivotal role in shaping the accounting and finance department to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $175,000 to $200,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities :

• Oversee the outside accounting firm, in-house accountants, and payroll processing.
• Implement and manage inventory audits and process improvements; oversee cost management for domestic and international 3PLs.
• Administer domestic and international insurance policies.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial controls in preparation for the first GAAP audit.
• Manage the period-end GL close and reporting cycles of domestic and international entities.
• Work closely with the IT Department to optimize the ERP system and coordinate workflows with other departments.
• Maintain expertise in applicable accounting principles and ensure new accounting guidance is appropriately implemented.
• Collaborate with outside accounting firms for tax planning and manage the preparation of required materials for tax filings.
