Overview

Smith & Co. Dental Practitioners is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team of dental professionals in Bel Air, MD! Our practice is known for delivering exceptional care to the community using state-of-the-art technology and innovative techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong chairside presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for creating a positive patient experience. If this sounds like you, apply today!

Compensation

  • $18 - $27 an hour based on experience

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours vary

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are properly sterilized
  • Take and process digital X-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Provide excellent patient care and education throughout their visit
  • Support the team with daily clinical and sterilization duties

    • Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, professional attitude, and strong attention to detail
