Sr. DevOps Engineer - AWS

Job Description

Location : San Francisco / Bay Area; must work PST hours. The team spends a few days in office each month.

About the Role : We are seeking a seasoned Sr. DevOps Engineer to join Sogeti and help deliver cutting-edge cloud and automation solutions. This role focuses on designing and implementing secure, scalable DevOps practices across AWS environments, enabling continuous integration and deployment for enterprise-grade applications.

What You Will Do at Sogeti

• Develop and implement DevOps strategies for deployment, scaling, and automation across AWS environments.
• Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines with integrated automated testing using AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
• Manage containerized workloads leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS.
• Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure, including RDS instances, multi-environment setups, and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams during release cycles and troubleshoot production issues.
• Apply best practices for cloud security and data protection across application, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Oversee Cloudflare updates and database operations to ensure performance and security.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $135,000 - $185,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
