[job_card.job_description]Coordinate with job site manager to configure layout. Read and interpret construction plans and specifications Perform welding in an overhead, laying, or standing position. Use and operate welding equipment including but not limited to power sources, welding guns, torches, and plasma cutters. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to see, talk and hear. This position will require one to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, work at heights without fear, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. This position will one to occasionally lift and / or move up to 80 pounds. Visual Acuity : must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may require use of ear plugs on occasion. Work condition is outside environment (job site / field site) that may have inclement weather conditions. The incumbent is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, and equipment.
