Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Buyer Assistant / Purchasing Assistant with strong organizational skills and a passion for product development. This position supports our lead Buyer with vendor management, purchase order processing, and sourcing while also working directly with key retail accounts to ensure exceptional service and smooth order execution.

Key Responsibilities
Support purchasing activities, including sourcing, cost negotiations, and supplier communication.
Manage and track purchase orders from creation through delivery.
Maintain production schedules and follow up with both domestic and overseas vendors.
Work directly with select key retail accounts to provide order updates, resolve issues, and maintain positive customer relationships.
Coordinate with the design team on product development, sampling, and approvals.
Keep accurate records of vendor agreements, pricing, and product data.
Partner with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on-time shipments.

Qualifications
35 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or merchandising support.
Experience in both vendor and customer account management preferred.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus.
Background in home dcor, furniture, or consumer goods preferred.
Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.
