Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Opportunity

Location: North Eastern Montana

Join our client's dynamic healthcare team in North Eastern Montana! They are committed to providing exceptional surgical care to their patients and fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment for the staff. We are currently seeking Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) to join our client's team.

Position Overview

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room, ensuring the surgical team has the tools and resources needed for successful procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and maintain a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Ensure all surgical tools and equipment are sterilized and in proper working order.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly to requests.
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies to prevent retained items.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with post-operative clean-up and prepare for the next procedure.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited program.
• Current certification through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or eligibility to obtain.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
