We are seeking a Real Estate Loan Processor for our corporate office. Responsibilities include inputting new real estate loan applications into the credit union's LOS. Performing employment, income, asset, and liability verification in accordance with credit union and secondary market guidelines. Assisting in assessing and determining applicants' credit worthiness for real estate loans. Initiating the escrow process and obtaining property title information via the credit union's vendors. Preparing and distributing required disclosures to members and staff as appropriate. Supporting the credit union's overall loan processing and underwriting process. Maintaining real estate loan application logs, pipeline reports, and funded loan files. Performing duties / work assignments as requested by management and the Loan Center Manager.
The ideal candidate must have 2 years of real estate loan processing experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both members and employees. The ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision. A working knowledge of regulations governing consumer and real estate lending.
