Job Summary:

Wellhaven Home Care CHS is seeking a dedicated and caring Weekend Caregiver to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will provide exceptional in-home care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Assist clients with meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping tasks

• Encourage and support clients in their independence, promoting their physical and emotional well-being

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• 1 years of experience in healthcare or related field (training provided)

• Ability to work weekends, with flexible scheduling available

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and to stand and sit for periods of time
