Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in financial data and SQL to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in data extraction, interpretation, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights for financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from financial systems using advanced SQL queries.
• Interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support strategic financial planning.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• + years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, datasets, and reporting standards.
• Experience with data visualization tools (, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (, Basel, IFRS, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (, Snowflake, AWS).
