Environmental Services Manager

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. This is a 900+ bed academic medical center located in central North Carolina, and is the flagship hospital of UNC Healthcare. Both roles will oversee day shift (6 : 30am start time) and will manage a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with direct supervision over a team of 25 in housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have a track record of proven leadership skills, and the ability to coach, develop, and lead a group of highly-skilled employees. This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Looking for a manager who is ambitious and willing to learn Sodexo systems and procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and / or Custodial Services, or military service, and excellent customer service skills.

Incentives : 5K bonus (2500 spot bonus / 2500 retention after 6 months)

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
• Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and / or
• Support an inclusive workforce.

Have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team; have customer service and / or guest satisfaction in a health care or hospitality; possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program; have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines; are results and safety driven; are proficient with computers and other technology.
