First Choice Health Centers is looking for a Medical Assistant to work alongside our Providers in a variety of specialties providing direct care services including patient engagement and care coordination within the communities of East Hartford. This position is accountable for independently performing a full range of tasks in delivery of patient care in an outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.

• Primarily a Monday through Friday schedule working 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. There is one late night each week until 6 pm (scheduled by site) but the clinic closes at 3 : 00 pm on Friday. Medical Assistants also rotate for Saturday clinic which is 8 am to 2 pm in East Hartford (with a day off during the week).
• The hourly range for this position is $17.50 - $22 / hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience certifications, etc.
