Job Description :

Seeking a skilled Material Handler to support production operations by managing incoming / outgoing materials, chemicals, logistics coordination, equipment movements, inventory control, and material documentation. This role directly impacts manufacturing efficiency, schedule adherence, and safety compliance within a high‑precision aerospace environment.

Responsibilities :

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using manual methods and equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dolly, hoist,
• Research status of critical material and expedite items to support production schedules
• Manage chemicals end‑to‑end : receiving, labeling, documentation, storage, tracking, and updates in Excel and Costpoint
• Identify, red-tag, track, and dispose of expired material
• Maintain proper inventory of consumables, shop supplies, floor stock, and shelf-life items
• Interface with procurement, engineering, production control, quality, and logistics to coordinate material flow
• Conduct metrics analysis, cost analysis, and time studies
• Prepare weekly status updates and material control reports
• Maintain logistics documentation, including spares, test equipment, manuals, and maintenance materials
• Support floor teams with daily logistics needs and maintain inventory accuracy across all material locations
• Coordinate transportation of material between sites
• Evaluate and improve material handling processes
