As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming environment for all. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 05 : 45 PM - 10 : 15 PM

Sat 05 : 45 PM - 10 : 15 PM

Sun 05 : 45 PM - 10 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and / or reports as required by site-specific policies.
  • Collaborate with campus personnel and / or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
