Stop Loss Coordinator

Compensation Expectations : $29.00 - $38.00 DOE

Role Location : Remote

Marpai Administrators (Subsidiary of Marpai Inc. (NASDAQ : MRAI)) is a technology company transforming the Third Party Administration sector serving employers with self-funded health plans. Marpai Administrators ("Marpai") is an AI-powered national TPA (third party administrator) using deep learning and machine learning to maximize population health outcomes with the greatest cost efficiency for any health plan budget. We create healthier members and a healthier bottom line. Marpai proactively targets at-risk members with meaningful clinical interventions to improve outcomes.

About The Position :

The Stop Loss Coordinator works with the Stop Loss / Excess of Loss community and IT to investigate issues and resolve problems. The Stop Loss Coordinator works directly with Stop Loss Carriers and MGUs to understand their needs and then collaborates with IT to deliver required reporting. The Stop Loss Coordinator works directly with the Stop Loss Carriers and MGUs to submit all funding / reimbursement requests. This position reports to the Claims Manager.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Month end Stop Loss reporting
  • Strong ability to read stop loss contracts
  • Analyze reports to determine data integrity issues, provide solutions
  • Release monthly reporting within the company
  • Develops relationships with Stop Loss Carriers and MGUs that foster trust and collaboration.
  • Quickly understands existing business issues and data challenges
  • Runs reports to analyze data and identify anomalies
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes
  • Acts as liaison between Stop Loss Carriers and MGUs and the Account management team.
  • Responsible for ongoing submissions for specific reimbursement, advance funding, and level funding requests.

What Do You Need :

  • Highly organized and capable of focusing on problem details
  • 5+ years of experience with Stop Loss
  • 2+ years of experience with Reinsurance
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel or equivalent
  • Pleasant demeanor when working with others.
  • Energetic and motivated.
  • Work with minimum supervision

    • Work Requirements :

  • This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers / clients.
