Senior Technical Analyst
Location : Hybrid role with a requirement to work onsite at the HHS Washington, DC office 1 (one) to two (2) days per week.
The Senior Technical Analyst provides independent technical oversight and IV&V support across DIS systems, ensuring system quality, compliance, risk mitigation, and support for website functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct independent verification and validation activities across the system development lifecycle
Review system requirements, architecture, design, testing, and release artifacts
Develop and execute test plans, validation procedures, and acceptance criteria
Assess compliance with HHS, CPIC, OMB, and federal IT policies
Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and change management processes
Review technical aspects of DIS websites and supporting platforms for performance, reliability, and integration impacts
Support assessment of website-related technical metrics and system usability indicators
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
8+ years of experience supporting federal IT systems, IV&V, or systems engineering efforts
Prior hands-on experience working with HHS systems or programs (e.g., DIS-supported systems, grants management platforms, or HHS IT modernization initiatives)
Strong analytical, testing, documentation, and communication skills
