Our company, a leader in home automation technology and integrated services for over twenty years, is seeking a reliable and organized Field Scheduler to join our Texas-based operations team. The Field Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating field service appointments, optimizing technician schedules, and ensuring timely communication with customers and internal teams. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain daily field service schedules for technicians and subcontractors

• Dispatch technicians to customer sites based on skill set, location, and priority

• Confirm appointments with customers via phone, email, or text and provide accurate arrival windows

• Monitor job progress and update schedules in real time to minimize downtime

• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure parts and materials are available for scheduled jobs

• Prioritize emergency and same-day service requests and reassign resources as needed

• Maintain accurate records in the scheduling/field management system and generate schedule reports

• Communicate schedule changes and delays to customers and field staff promptly

• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and customer communication

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable using scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively with field personnel and office teams

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

• 1–3 years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or related roles preferred

• Experience in home automation, electrical, or field service industries is a plus

• Demonstrated record of reliability and professionalism
