Join our dedicated team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, focusing on providing essential medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Any USA State provider license applicable for this role - license portability rules apply.
In this rewarding position, you will :
- Review medical records electronically via a web portal.
- Conduct focused, in-person physical exams for each Veteran.
- Document examination findings electronically through the web portal.
- Note : You will NOT be responsible for making disability determinations or providing treatment and prescriptions.
This position entails conducting disability assessments for an average of 3-5 Veterans daily, providing a significant impact on the Veteran community.
Travel Requirements :
Commit to at least two weeks of travel each month.Travel to assigned locations on Sunday evenings and return home on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.Key Attributes :
Interest in performing Independent Medical Assessments.Able to analyze medical data and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.Skilled in time management to meet requirements.Proficient in computer usage.Enjoyment of travel.Providers with multiple state licenses preferred.Requirements :
A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license.Benefits :
