Bon Secours St. Francis Cancer Care Center is looking for locum coverage in Medical Oncology.

JOB DETAILS :

Practice Setting : Free-Standing Cancer Center

Reason for Coverage : Loss of provider

Dates of Coverage : February 1, 2026 September 30, 2026

Call Schedule : First call for patient phone calls and hospital phone calls Tuesday 4 : 30pm-8 : 00 am, Friday 4 : 30pm-Monday 8 : 00am. On site inpatient rounding Saturday & Sunday.

Call Ratio : One rotation every 5-6 weeks, dependent upon staffing

Patient Population for Required Coverage : Adult, Geriatric

What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine % : 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine

Number of Physicians in Practice : 8

How Many APPs Provide Coverage : 4

Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT : 15

Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call / Rounding) : 20

Clinical Area : Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting

Trauma Level / Designation (Hospital) : N / A

Documentation System / EMR : EPIC

Required Duties : Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes

Administration of Chemotherapy : Nurse Oncologist

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 60 Days

Facility reimbursement for the following costs : Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
