Data Engineer (Level 3)

Team Red Dog is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Global Technology clients growing analytics team supporting one of the worlds most successful casual gaming organizations. This is an exciting opportunity to design develop and deploy end-to-end data pipelines and models that support gaming analytics for a large-scale player base of over 40 million monthly users. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data engineer who thrives in a collaborative high-impact environmentwhere your work directly influences game development decisions data strategy and player insights.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves) :

• PySpark (5 years) : Proven expertise in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and transformations using PySpark.
• Data Lake Architectures (5 years) : Deep understanding of Azure-based data lake patterns and medallion architectures to support structured and unstructured data flows.
• Data Modeling (5 years) : Experience designing logical and physical data models to support telemetry and analytics for high-volume datasets.

How you will make an impact :

Collaborate with analytics directors producers designers and engineering teams to define and implement telemetry and analytics requirements.

Design develop deploy and maintain robust data pipelines storage solutions and semantic layers to support internal analytics.

Create and maintain data models that transform raw telemetry into actionable insights.

Modify and optimize existing processes to extend data capabilities and scalability.

Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and create basic data visualizations to communicate findings.

Participate in agile development rituals including daily standups sprint reviews and design sessions.

The expertise you bring :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

57 years of experience in data engineering or related analytics development roles.

Hands-on experience with SQL PySpark Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Azure Storage Fabric and Power BI.

Strong understanding of data lake architectures medallion layering and telemetry data modeling.

Ability to independently manage tasks from data extraction to visualization while working closely with business stakeholders.

Excellent communication troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Proven track record of delivering scalable reliable data solutions.
